"Photographing Weddings & Creating Exhibition Pieces"
Get the recipe, from identifying the perfect backdrop (regardless of the location), posing the couple, creative lighting & editing techniques.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if for every wedding you photographed, you could create at least one exhibition piece or award winning image? Or create a piece of art that every client would want to display proudly in their living room?
Duran is a Houston based Wedding Photographer. Graduated with honors with a major in Communications and Public Relations in Mexico and a Master Degree in Arts, specialized in Photography from Goldsmiths College, University of London. Member of PPA since 2009. Blanca has received numerous awards by national publications and her work has been published in Houston magazines. In addition, Blanca has been honored by peers and jurors for high-quality photography by having several images selected in the PPA (Professional Photographers of America) General Collection and accolades by WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International)
The workshop will focus on:
1. Creating portraits using your wide angle lens. (Take advantage of this powerful lens and create stunning panoramic portraits.)
2. Using flash off camera/multiple flashes to shape your portrait.
3. Create two different connotations (artistic & emotional) of the same subject by
changing lenses and camera settings.
4.Using different settings for details such as lighting the dress, flowers and cake to make them stand out from the background, as well as lighting the first dance/speech moments
5.Learning post processing workflow: Lightroom, Adobe Camera Raw & Photoshop
